Findings of herbicide and fungicide residues in bee bread

چکیده
The honey bee is one of the insects that significantly endangered by application pesticides in cultivation crops. Not only acute toxicity dangerous, but importance chronic poisoning low doses hives growing. behavior bees can be affected not insecticide residues also herbicide and fungicide residues. In 2016–2018, samples bread were analysed for pesticide content at 25 different localities from intensive agricultural production areas Czech Republic. Substances extracted QuEChERS determined liquid chromatography, together with mass spectrometric detection. We detected up to 18 sample. total, during we identified 53 active substances. Fifteen substances (31%) herbicidal, 23 (47%) fungicidal nature 6 (12%) insecticidal nature. coefficient variation showed large differences frequency revealed between years. For sprayed outside period attractive pollinators (mainly herbicides some fungicides), usual methodology cannot reliably determine degree contamination, thus actual contamination these may even higher than demonstrated this study.

Fungicide contamination reduces beneficial fungi in bee bread based on an area-wide field study in honey bee, Apis mellifera, colonies.
Fermentation by fungi converts stored pollen into bee bread that is fed to honey bee larvae, Apis mellifera, so the diversity of fungi in bee bread may be related to its food value. To explore the relationship between fungicide exposure and bee bread fungi, samples of bee bread collected from bee colonies pollinating orchards from 7 locations over 2 years were analyzed for fungicide residues an...

"The man has no divine right over the food. He must compete for this with weeds, diseases, insects and other organisms” (Grodner, 1996). With the above quote, Grodner clearly reflects the situation in the area production and processing of food. More than 10.000 species of insects and mites, 1.500 species of fungi and 600 plant species have been identified as harmful to agriculture (Grodner, 199...

Palynological spectrum, proximate and fatty acid (FA) composition of eight bee bread samples of different botanical origins were examined and significant variations were observed. The samples were all identified as monofloral, namely Castanea sativa (94.4%), Trifolium spp. (85.6%), Gossypium hirsutum (66.2%), Citrus spp. (61.4%) and Helianthus annuus (45.4%). Each had moisture content between 1...
متن کاملReliability of Bioassay Tests to Indicate Herbicide Residues in Compost Of Varying Salinity and Herbicide Levels
A recent study evaluated the effects of compost salinity on the performance of plants often used in herbicide bioassays and demonstrated that salinity and pH of compost test media significantly influenced plant growth, leading in some cases to stunting, yieldreduction and total-loss of seedlings (Brinton, et al. 2005). The principal cause of harmful effects was shown to be salinity with seconda...
متن کاملSurvival of adult Tiphia vernalis (Hymenoptera: Tiphiidae) after insecticide, fungicide, and herbicide exposure in laboratory bioassays.
Tiphia vernalis Rohwer is a hymenopteran ectoparasitoid of Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica Newman, larvae. The adult wasps feed on nectar or honeydew between mid-April and late June. Adults may contact pesticides when landing on foliage or when females hunt for grubs in the soil. The lethal effect of nursery, turf, and landscape pesticides was determined by exposing wasps to treated foliage ...
